Just as cars and guitars need tuning or else they
decline and become useless, bodies need tuning too. So many things cause
us to be 'out of tune'. On the physical side, we shock our bodies into
dis-ease through many occurrences, such as accidents, falls, operations,
medical procedures, giving birth, physical abuse and being the victim
of violence, etc. etc.
On the emotional side, we can suffer trauma through
grief and loss, relationship break-up, redundancy, moving away to new
places, exam pressure, feelings of abandonment and rejection, and so
it goes on. At one time or another all of us go through some of these
things, but these times are when the body is crying out for healing,
otherwise negative thoughts and feelings can become stored in various
parts of the body causing dis-ease and pain.
